Somehow we never came around to finish it until now. The Treelungs idea is intimately connected to the concept of parkarma in the sense that it reflects our concerns with deforestation and the burst of urban environments. We are putting at stake our own existence through our daily choices. We hope this design reminds whom ever comes across it that we are linked through our lungs and the air that must flow through them, to the earth and the trees that grow on it. It is our responsibility to ensure that future generations (of trees and humans and all other living things) can inhabit our planet, and coexist in a sustainable way.
